Zucchini 500 at the Mill

The Anselma Farmers and Artisans Market is delighted to host its third annual “Zucchini 500,” on July 28, starting at 1 p.m. Bring your own decorated zucchini racecar to the Market and test it on our raceway for a chance to win coupons and prizes, or for a small fee we’ll provide the wheels and you can decorate your zucchini

Also featured during the day will be live music, zucchini cooking demonstrations, and hands-on games and interactive activities for all ages. The Mill, built in 1747 to mill flour for local farmers, will be open for tours, and as always we will be collecting donations of fresh fruits and vegetables for the Chester County Food Bank.

The Farmers Market features farm fresh and organic produce from a variety of local farms, including: Maysie’s Farm CSA, Brogue Hydroponics, St. Peter’s Bakery, Wildflower Café, Pureland Teas, Canter Hill Farm, Philadelphia Windsor Chair Shop, Vollmer Farm, Camphill Soltane, and many more.
