On Friday, December 3, beginning at 6 pm, The Drafting Room of Exton will host an elaborate tap lineup from Troegs Brewery of Harrisburg. This must-attend, full-out local beer event will feature the seasonal favorite, Mad Elf, in both the 2009 and 2010 ale varieties, as well as the brewery’s Java Head Stout, Dreamweaver Wheat, the Scratch Series #36 “Bruce Wit,” #37 IPA, #38 IPA, Hopback Amber and the Troegenator.
If you have yet to experience the craft brewery’s notorious Belgian ale, which trots an 11-percent alcohol content, found in rich cherry swigs swirled with honey and chocolate malts, now is your chance! The experimentation batch of Scratch Series #37 recently continued its fermentation process on November 23, too, so this evening’s slugs may be first-times for many beer-appreciating folks!
