Also taking place during Verdad’s Cinco de Mayo celebrations is another installment of Tequila University, which is perfect for the novice who wants to have fun learning or the connoisseur who wants to enjoy a unique evening. For this course, Verdad’s in-house master mixologist and tequila aficionado, Pablo “Papi” Hurtado will discuss Casa Noble tequilas. The class will feature three varieties of tequila paired with three tapas dishes prepared by Executive Chef Nicholas Farina (see menu below). Tuition is $30 per person, plus tax and gratuity. Chef Nicholas Farina is pulling out all the stops with a whole roasted suckling pig and stations featuring turkey, prime rib, omelets and frittatas. The cost is $24 per person, plus tax & gratuity.
