Appalachian Brewing Company to Open Collegeville Brewpub

Appalachian Brewing Company is proud to announce the opening of their fourth Brewpub & Grill outside of Philadelphia. Their newest addition is located at 50 West 3rd Avenue, Collegeville Station 2nd floor (old Hemingway’s spot; above Bonjung Japanese Restaurant). The opening is scheduled for the week May 16th, 2011.

This location will feature Appalachian Brewing Company’s full line of beers, as well as specialty beers brewed on-site brewing system. This system will produce exciting specialty batches of beer throughout the year.

Appalachian Brewing Company opened its first brewery and restaurant in Harrisburg in 1997. Collegeville now joins Harrisburg, Camp Hill and Gettysburg brewpubs. Offering fresh innovative cuisine to compliment their well-received handcrafted ales and lagers, they’re ready to serve!

They are hiring all positions, too, and experience (and, I assume, beer knowledge) is required. To apply, send your resume to [email protected] or stop by 50 West 3rd Ave., Collegeville, to pick up an application.

(Do note: If you are visiting ABC Collegeville using your GPS for directions, be sure to you use “Collegeville Station” or you will be routed to Trappe, PA). For more information on ABC, visit www.abcbrew.com.
