Riverstone Cafe’s Annual “Hearts for Megan” event has traditionally been held in February to honor the memory of one their Riverstone Café family members, Megan Bates, who was tragically killed in a drunk driving accident in 2007 at the age of 21.
For a number of reasons, starting this year they have changed the name to “Hearts for Mommy” and moved the date of the event back to May 12 to coincide with Mother’s Day. The nonprofit organization benefiting from this effort is still Mommy’s Light.
But, there’s more.
Beginning this year, they are also excited to announce that Mally Roncal, Celebrity Makeup Artist and President/Creator of Mally Cosmetics, along with Mary Beth Roe, longtime and well known on air host for QVC, have graciously offered to co-chair and co-host “Hearts for Mommy”! Both of these exceptional ladies will be at the event in May.
To date, Riverstone has successfully raised well over $80,000 over the past three years. There are many ways YOU can take part in this incredible success:

3. You can BUY A HEART for any amount through the website www.heartsformommy.com or in person at the Riverstone Café or either Winner’s Circle Sports Grille location. They will personalize your heart and hang it in their restaurant.
4. You can make a GIFT DONATION to the Silent Auction held during the event. (Items such as beach houses, rental cars, sporting event/ concert tickets, gift cards, services, or ANYTHING you may want to donate are welcomed and very much appreciated!)
