New Owners Announced at the Gables at Chadds Ford

As reported recently in the Delco Times, Dan and Ann Kolenick are now the official owners of Gables at Chadds Ford.

The restaurant was recently purchased by the couple from Chester County restaurateur Jack McFadden, who owned and operated it for almost 15 years. With the recent ownership switch-up, the Kolenicks announce that they had kept all of McFadden’s employees (15 full and part-timers).

The new operating duo additionally reveal that they will run Gables similarly to how McFadden had–at least for now. The menu will continue to celebrate contemporary American cuisine with a French twist, which is sculpted from locally-sourced ingredients. It is suggested that improvements will be made to the space around Jan. and Feb. of 2012. But, do note: The corkage fee for Sunday and Tuesday – Thursday is now $7 per bottle, $10 on Friday and Saturday nights.
