The Phantom & Mozart’s Requiem Premieres with the Brandywine Ballet

Brandywine Ballet is proud to announce its season-opening performance, The Phantom & Mozart’s Requiemwhich introduces a truly exciting collaboration of Ballet, Chorus and Orchestra on October 21 – 23.

The pairing of two celebrated Chester County performing arts groups – Brandywine Ballet and Brandywine Singers – represents a major milestone for both organizations.

The ballet and chorus will be joined by a live orchestral ensemble to perform Mozart’s glorious Requiem Mass, featuring Nancy Page’s ethereal and soul-searching choreography.

The season opener also includes the world premiere of choreographer Christopher Fleming’s The Phantom.  Mr. Fleming has created a lusciously expressed, one-act ballet interpretation of French writer Gaston Leroux’s classic novel Phantom of the Opera.

Audiences will embrace the character of the Phantom for his tortured disfigurement and masked love overtures to the beautiful and alluring Christina.
