Nectar Restaurant to Host Second Annual Chester Co. Cheese Artisans’ Dinner

If your love of cheese easily exceeds “connoisseur” status, you’re lucky to be in Chester County. The region has its own cheese alliance — the Chester County Cheese Artisans – making it extremely accessible for you to sample creamy, cheesy pleasures right where they are produced.

Of course, many area-wide chefs make use of the local, incredible cheese products found in their back yards, including Nectar’s Chef Patrick Feury–a local culinary superstar who so beautifully serves dishes dancing with locally sourced goods and always has local cheese as part of his menu.

But, for one night only, on Monday, Nov. 7, he will serve a four-course Chester Co. cheese dinner, featuring four local cheesemakers’ products in several well-executed courses. Better yet, each of the featured cheesemakers will be in-house for the local producer celebration, including Amazing Acres Goat Dairy, Birchrun Hills Farm, Yellow Springs Farm and Shellbark Hollow Farm.

The 2nd Annual Chester County Cheese Artisan Dinner (with the first held last year at Restaurant Alba) will begin on Monday at 6:30 pm and will cost attendees $65 per person, with a wine pairing included in the cost. Reservations may be made by calling 610-725-9000. More information is available at tastenectar.com.
