We’ve welcomed Pepperoncini’s chef/owners Paul DiBona and Tommy DeFruscio into the Phoenixville dining scene with open arms, marveling over their well-crafted, traditional dishes week-after-week. Now, the operating duo has been hard at work to introduce several brand-new menu items, rolled out officially on Thursday, Nov. 3.
New menu items are as follows:
Salad
- Chopped Salad My Way – imported pepperoni, banana peppers, fresh tomatoes, olives, ceci beans, red onion, aged provolone, parmigiana reggiano, red wine vinaigrette
Small Plates
- Penne all Luca Brasi – fresh Italian tuna, spicy hot peppers, diced tomato and capers over penne in garlic and oil
- Brasciole – tender beef stuffed with roasted garlic, parmigiana reggiano, raisins, toasted pine nuts and fresh parsley, over roasted potatoes and marinara
- Stuffed Portabello Imperial – fresh jumbo lump crab cake, sauteed spinach and roasted peppers on top of a grilled portabello cap with sweet balsamic reduction
- Caramelized Scallops – roasted tomato saffron sauce, fresh peas over penne

And, back by popular demand:
- Veal Corleone – prosciutto di parma, smoked mozzarella, wild mushroom marsala sauce
Also, Pepperoncini Sotto is delighted to introduce a new wine menu, which will feature pours like an Araldica Gavi 2010 from Piedmont, a Clifford Bay Sauvignon Blanc 2010 and a Gonzaga Terre Di San Leonardo 2007.
