Isabella Debuts a New Lunch and Happy Hour Menu

We’re excited to announce that Chef Michael Cappon of Isabella(382 East Elm Street, Conshohocken) unveils two new menus this week.The first, a brand-new lunch menu, features a plethora of choices from small plates to salads ($5 – $12), omelets to burgers ($8 – $12) and sandwiches to pasta ($8 – $16). Lunch is available Monday through Friday, from 11:30 am to 2 pm.

Full menu is as follows:

Small Plates

  • Olivos: house brined mixed imported olives
  • Pinchos de Carne: chili and roasted garlic marinated beef skewers with a porcini mushroom crema and charred onion salsa
  • Patatas Bravas: seasoned fried potatoes with a tomato and chili aioli
  • Roasted Tomato Bisque
  • Sopa de Patatas: potatoes, chorizo, caramelized onions in a savory broth

Ensaladas

  • Organic Chicken Caesar: crisp romaine lettuce, marinated chicken, parmesan cheese, piquillo peppers, anchovy vinaigrette
  • Isabella: local mixed greens, valdeon blue cheese, marinated figs, toasted almonds, pedro ximenez vinaigrette
  • Spinach: baby spinach, grilled shrimp, bacon, golden raisins, cracked pepper and dijon vinaigrette
  • Arugula: baby arugula, seared scallops crispy ham, and manchego tossed with a pedro ximenez and honey vinaigrette

Omelets

  • Omelet: three free range eggs, hand cut fries
  • Isabella Omelet: three free range eggs, roasted tomatoes, spinach, house mozzarella with hand cut fries
  • Bacon Cheddar Omelet: three free range eggs, apple wood bacon, caramelized onions, aged cheddar cheese, hand cut fries

Sandwiches

  • Kobe Burger: fresh ground kobe beef with lettuce and tomato on a freshly baked bun with fries
  • Black ‘n’ Bleu Burger: fresh ground Kobe beef dusted with black pepper, valdeon blue cheese, applewood smoked bacon and fries
  • Chili Burger: ancho dusted kobe beef topped with caramelized jalapenos, cheddar cheese, roasted tomatoes and fries
  • Mushroom Burger: fresh ground kobe beef, truffled mushrooms, caramelized onions, manchego, with fries
  • Prosciutto: prosciutto di parma, fig jam, arugula, house made mozzarella, grilled on sourdough bread with fries
  • Fennel Salami: thinly sliced fennel salami, goat cheese, piquillo peppers and frisee grilled on sourdough bread with fries
  • Grilled Cheese and Tomato Soup: house made mozzarella and cheddar grilled on sourdough with a cup of tomato bisque
  • Grilled Organic Chicken: olive oil and herb marinated organic chicken, sautéed spinach, roasted peppers, tomato chili aioli on a brioche bun with fries

Main Plates

  • Salmon: seared scottish salmon with a meyer lemon chutney, sweet onion risotto, and sautéed spinach
  • Fruta del Mar: sautéed shrimp, scallops, and calamari, fresh basil, pine nuts, lemon zest, and san marzano tomato
  • tossed with with pappardelle
  • Mussels: mussels in a roasted tomato jus with a crisp potato and arugula salad
The second menu, the new Happy Hour Menu, has been expanded from 5 to 13 items at half the normal price, with dishes ranging from just $3 – $6. Happy Hour highlights include their signature Mussels in roasted tomato jus with a crisp potato and arugula salad ($4.50); Crispy Veal Meatballs with fresh herbs and a spicy tomato sauce ($5); and Crispy Pork Belly smoke tomato compote, on a hand cut potato chip ($4.50). Happy Hour drink specials feature half-off draft beer, $4 select wines, and $5 select Manhattans and martinis. Happy Hour is offered seven days a week from 5 – 7 pm.
