“My favorite part of the event is seeing so many people from the community coming together to support the work of the Good Samaritan Shelter. It is really inspiring to see how much the community cares about the services we provide,” said Good Samaritan Shelter Executive Director Nate Hoffer.

“Everyone has a great time at A Taste of Phoenixville – it is a time to celebrate the work the shelter does while enjoying the company of friends and family. Included in the cost of admission is all you can eat and drink. It’s a great value.”

A Taste of Phoenixville is Good Samaritan Shelter‘s largest fundraiser and they rely heavily on the proceeds to provide safe housing, local health and social services for homeless men, women and children in their Phoenixville and Ephrata shelters. Since the event’s inception in 2002, A Taste of Phoenixville has raised over $200,000 for the Good Samaritan’s Shelter.

This year, Good Samaritan hopes to see over 500 community members, old friends and new faces at this year’s party, 100 more guests than last year. In case you can’t make it out on the 19th, the Good Samaritan Shelter offers several other ways to get involved.

Good Samaritan Shelter would like to thank A Taste of Phoenixville’s sponsors: Party Rental Ltd., Robert Ryan’s Columbia Station, Phoenixville Federal Bank & Trust, Chester County Life Magazine, Choice Party Linens, EBE Entertainment, Video-Grams Production, County Lines Magazine, Franklin Commons and PhoenixvilleDish.com.
