Matt Krueger of Victory Brewing Company Campaigns for ‘Man of the Year’ for the Leukemia & Lymphona Society

If you frequent Victory’s Brewpub regularly you have probably seen Matt Krueger. As the General Manager for the Downingtown watering hole, he’s often on the floor chatting with staff and customers, and now he has started a campaign to be named Man of the Year for the Leukemia & Lymphona Society.

Matt was inspired by another Victory employee, Berry Woodrow McLaughlin, who campaigned last year on the non-profit’s behalf. With a lot of hard work and support from friends, family and customers, Berry’s campaign last year raised over $60,000 for LLS.

This year, Matt was nominated and began his mission to raise funds with the hope of finding ways to defeat blood cancer. “This is not just about raising money and securing an impressive title,” said Matt. “This is about saving lives and making a difference right now.”

Victory Brewing is Company is joining Matt in his mission by signing on as the Presenting Sponsor of the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society’s 2012 Man & Woman of the Year. They have started two initiatives to help raise funds, and both opportunities give friends of Victory fun ways to contribute to this worthy cause.
