First Friday Beer Release at Iron Hill Brewery & Restaurant of Phoenixville

Iron Hill Brewery & Restaurant of Phoenixville is hosting a Forbidden Fruit exclusive beer release to all their faithful mug club members on Thursday, March 29. Not a member? Not a problem! The beer will be available to the public at this hip Phoenixville brewery on March 30, for First Friday.

The new release from brewers, Matt Gundrum and Tim Stumpf, derives its name, Forbidden Fruit, from the orange peels and pure Chardonnay grapes that are used to make the delicious final product. It is a dark Belgian wheat beer that also contains coriander seed and is modeled after a Hoegaarden brew. Although you’ll probably find yourself enjoying the fruitful, spicy complexity of the beverage, Tim Stumpf warns that this taste only masks the strength of the beer so be careful!

Stay tuned until mid-april when the dynamite duo of brewers will be introducing more beer releases and special events. The Saison and Maibock are just around the corner and Hoppopotamus is not far behind. Don’t miss out on exclusive releases in the future and join the Mug Club at your local Iron Hill Brewery & Restaurant.
