First Friday Art Stroll in Downtown Kennett Square

Historic Kennett Square will host a First Friday Art Stroll in downtown Kennett Square on Friday, April 6, from 6 to 9 pm.

The public is invited to visit Kennett Square’s unique, independently owned shops, galleries, and restaurants and enjoy special exhibits, refreshments, and live music. The Kennett Square Farmers Market will kick off the monthly Art Stroll with various vendors selling greens, eggs, baked goods, honey & jams, meats & cheeses, and much more.  On First Fridays there are also a variety of crafters selling their work. The Market is located on State Street and the brick walkway next to the Genesis HealthCare building at 101 East State Street.

Some participating merchants will also be hosting an adult Easter Egg “Hunt” where patrons of the shops will be offered the chance to select a prize egg with each purchase. A number of Golden Eggs will be scattered throughout the businesses featuring larger prizes, including an offer for free framing at Artworks/Metalworks, free tickets to the Kennett Flash, and lovely jewelry item from Bove Jewelers.

Further details of the evening’s events are available HERE. Free parking is available after 5 pm in the municipal garage accessible from North Union Street (Rt. 82) on East Linden Street.

The First Friday Art Stroll and the Kennett Square Farmers Market are projects of Historic Kennett Square, a non-profit 501(C)3.
