Iron Hill Brewery & Restaurant are firm believers in starting the weekend early, especially in warmer weather, which is why they decided to host a special Patio Opening Party by throwing a luau themed event on Thursday, April 12 from 5 to 9 pm.
We’ve had our fair share of warm weather already this year but things are really going to heat up now as Iron Hill Brewery & Restaurant brings the islands to Media. The restaurant will feature luau themed cuisine and beverages. Mug Club Members and employees who really get in the spirit with Hawaiian attire, will have a chance to win some fabulous prizes. If you aren’t one to dress up in a flowery shirt or a coconut bra, you can still win through the Mug Club raffle, granted you’re a Mug Club Member of course. Purchasing a Mug Club beer will get you one ticket and winners will be drawn hourly!
Although this event is Hawaiian themed, if you’re looking for a fruity signature drink with garnishes and tiny umbrellas, you will be looking for quite some time. Iron Hill Brewery & Restaurant will have a Chocolate-Coconut Belgian Single on tap for the special event. The beer was brewed and aged on chocolate and roasted coconut chips. You heard correctly; chocolate and roasted coconut chips!
To pair with this dream come true beverage are dishes such as Brown Sugar Roasted Pork Sandwiches with Hawaiian coleslaw, Pineapple Marinated Shrimp Skewers with a spicy orange dipping sauce, Black Bean & Rice salad, Sweet Potato salad, and White chocolate and Macadamia Brownies with a coconut topping.
