Kimberton Waldorf School to Host Annual May Faire Celebration

Celebrate the beauty of spring in the semi-rural Chester County area with Kimberton Waldorf School. The Annual May Faire celebration unfolding  this Saturday, May 5, will be held at their Kimberton campus and is open to the public. The second oldest Waldorf school in the U.S. has included interesting activities this year that make the event much more than your average faire.

It will be certainly be a kid friendly day at the faire, going down from 11 am until 2 pm, but guests of all ages are invited to participate in the Maypole dancing, face painting, hair wrapping, and hat making. Save your muddy wheels for just one more day as there will also be a car wash on premise. Get geared up for Spring gardening with their organic plant sale, watch in awe as the Morris Dancers perform and root for your favorite toy boat in a race down the French Creek.

Students and parents will be hosting food booths for your enjoyment once the activities work up your appetite. Lite bites and tasty morsels lke yogurt and strawberries, baked goods, beverages, sandwiches, and pizza will be available throughout the day.

If you have some wee little ones, bring them by at 10:30 for a puppet show in the kindergarten, prior to the Faire’s actual start. Seating is limited for the entertaining performance so be sure to arrive on time.
