Hog Island Hoagies Debuts on West Gay Street

The Greater West Chester Chamber of Commerce welcomed downtown West Chester’s newest sandwich shop, Hog Island Hoagies, with an official ribbon cutting today, Sept. 24. The local hoagie hub is based at 230 West Market Street in West Chester, in the former home of Sarcone’s Deli.

Hog Island Hoagies hit the downtown food scene on Sept. 3 with their official grand opening, living by the slogan, “we do hoagies justice.” Already notorious for packing their sandwiches generously with high-quality ingredients, the new local haunt considers that the key to their hoagies is their superior rolls, which are available in 6-inch (coined the “Campus”) and foot-long (titled the “Borough”) sizes.

In addition to a variety of hoagies, they also specialize in made-to-order wraps, cheesesteaks and salads. A signature late-night menu and free delivery is also available.
