Victory Brewing Company Presents the 4th Annual Chester County SPCA BrewBQ

You’ve had your fare share of fun at BBQ’s but have you ever been to a BREWBQ before? It’s a giant BBQ competition presented by Victory Brewing Company, where teams compete and are judged by the official Kansas City Barbeque Society judges. It’s been called the “real deal for BBQ aficionados” and it doesn’t get more serious that that!

As the 4th Annual BrewBQ event, the main attraction is always food but behind each creative offering is a furry friend with a hopeful future. That’s right, all proceeds will benefit the Chester County SPCA. General Admission is FREE but once you’re in, guests can enjoy the always refreshing Victory Beer Garden, barbeque classes and cooking demos, live music, vendors, and a kids activity area.

The competition is a two-category BBQ cook-off since each team will compete to see who can make the best chicken and ribs according to the judges. This year Paradise Farm Camps of Downingtown (1300 Valley Creek Rd.) will be the hosting venue allowing Victory to accept more competitors and expand the space from previous events. It’s set to unfold Saturday, August 4, from 12 to 4 pm. Also, for the first time, Victory is opening up the BBQ competition to restaurant vendors. By having a restaurant category, attendees of the BrewBQ will be able to taste and vote for the People’s Pork award!

The spots are limited so get on the ball! Restaurants and Pit Masters are encouraged to sign up as soon as possible. The opportunity won’t last long. This year, they are accepting 30 competitors but if you think you’ve got what it takes, please read the official rules before applying to compete. Also keep in mind, CASH prizes and trophies are awarded to First through Fourth place in each category.
