On Thursday, July 26th, Iron Hill wants to a settle a feud once and for all! And they’re calling in their greatest troops to do it; all of you!
The Brewery & Restaurant location in Chestnut Hill wants beer lovers near and far to join them for a cask challenge between Ultimate Warrior and Full Nelson. Guests will attend this IBU Smackdown to drink good beer, eat special crafted cuisine and determine which hoppy beer will be the favorite.
Obviously on tap will be the beers in question, Ultimate Warrior IPA and Belgian Full Nelson. The Ultimate Warrior showcases enough hop punch to lay low all competition, with a dosage of dry warrior hops for peak performance. As for the Belgian Full Nelson, it’s a Double Witbier brewed with unmalted wheat, oats, and a special variety of hops from New Zealand called Nelson Sauvin, which adds notes of white grapes to the fruit and spice character of the yeast.
Iron Hill would never let you drink on an empty stomach, which is why they are serving up Smackdown Hot Dog specials for the entire event, from 5 to 8 p.m. Join them to decide the ultimate hopmaster and chow down on creatively delicious eats.
