Following the closing of critically-acclaimed Gilmore’s Restaurant, locals are a-buzzing about what are their options for their remaining gift cards.
While Peter Gilmore reported to West Chester Dish on July 17 that he would be notifying customers of the closing in an email [an email that read simply, “If you have any inquiries, please send them in writing to: Gilmore’s Restaurant, 133 East Gay Street, West Chester, PA 19380“], the final word on outstanding certificates has yet to be confirmed.
Today, Michael Klein of the Philadelphia Inquirer reported within his Insider blog that “Gilmore said he would proceed on his attorney’s suggestions” – although no further specifications of what those “suggestions” are were reported.
