Chris Allen of Lotus Farm to Table to Host Shop, Cook and Eat With the Chef

We’re always inspired while strolling through local farmer’s markets, scouting out fresh ingredients in an attempt to prep our next best dish.

But, not everyone is crafty in the kitchen, and we get that. Chef Chris Allen of Lotus Farm to Table in Media has decided to jump-start your at-home skills by hosting a “Shop, Cook and Eat With the Chef” event, on Thursday, September 22 at 3pm.

The edible afternoon will start with a culinary treasure hunt through the Media Farmer’s Market followed by a cooking class and dinner. The cost is $55 and space is limited (early reservations are recommended). Call 610.565.5554 to reserve a spot.

Do note: Lotus is a BYOB, so feel free to bring the beverage of your choice to enhance your complimentary fresh fruit and herb infused cocktail. Lotus also has dozens of varieties of tea, and they are all listed on the menu with health benefits.
