We’re sad to see two Downingtown dining spots leave the scene. Breakfast or a light lunch and burgers won’t be the same around these parts for some, now that the Downingtown Nudy’s Cafe has officially closed and Doghouse Gourmet Burgers will shut their doors on Monday, August 13th.
It appears that Nudy’s lease was up and Doghouse owners will be focusing more attention on their other operation right next door, Firecreek Restaurant. If you have a hankering for the soon-to-be-gone goodies of Doghouse then make sure you stop in before Monday. As for Nudy’s, you can find your favorite foods at one of their other many other six locations nearby.
