Party Planning 101: Kraft Paper — an Eco-Friendly Approach to Decorating

This post is brought to you by the Event Planner and Owner of Events by Sarah Elizabeth.

I’ve been addicted to kraft paper for a while now, the eco-friendly aspect and rustic appeal continues to warm my heart. Here are some great ideas on how to incorporate kraft paper into your next event!

Loving this table from Once Wedit’s a great combination of the simple kraft paper accented by bold colored flowers and napkins.

The kraft with the burlap—be still my heart! This table setting from Ruffled creates a perfect shabby chic look, especially with the menu clipped to the simple blue and white napkin. Love this look!

For a more casual dinner look or for the “kid’s table,” using kraft paper not only for a table cloth but for an artistic outlet is super fun! Reminds me of going to those restaurants where the server would write their name on the table. Using kraft paper also makes for easy cleanup, loving this from Sweet Paul!

Cute succulents in kraft paper, equals super cute. This example from One Lovely Day uses them for place cards, which I love. Once guests get their place card it also acts as table décor.

A creative idea for a favor, hostess gift or just because, this idea from Cottage Industrialist is thoughtful and simple. This gets me excited to make my own marinara this year!

Another burlap and kraft combo, the two go together so well! From Snippet & Ink this simple place card adds just the right touch to the place setting!

Hope you are now as in love with kraft paper as I am and keep it in mind for your next event!
