The authentic Italian cuisine has always drawn diners to Lasorda’s Restaurant and Pizzeria. Add a rich family history of four friendly brothers who opened the original restaurant in 1971 and you’ll quickly see why the inviting eatery has always been popular. Those who have been noshing through the menu for years know the food is top notch and the Lasordas always welcome you like family. They wouldn’t have it any other way. It’s this proud family bond that always makes it an exciting time when the fifth Lasorda brother stops by for a visit. That’s right, the fifth brother is legendary LA Dodger Tommy Lasorda!
After all these years, the Hall of Fame player and manager continues working for the LA Dodgers and running Lasorda Winery, which means he keeps a hectic schedule. It’s quite a celebration when he visits the family and sits in on the legendary wine and conversation at Lasorda’s Restaurant and Pizzeria. The Lasorda family and true Lasorda diners have always been known (to each other at least) as the East Coast Dodgers fan club. However, you don’t have to be a big Dodgers fan to appreciate Tommy’s talent and Lasorda’s fine food and next week would be the perfect time to show that appreciation.
THE Tommy Lasorda will be visiting the restaurant from Monday, October 29th to Wednesday, October 31st. A long time fan or not, it’s the perfect time to stop in, chat with a Hall-of-Famer, and grab some delicious eats while you’re at it. Tommy is a generous man willing to share stories with many. Those who make the short trek to Lasorda’s may just find themselves on the listening end of a one of a kind story and on the eating end of their home run cuisine. We hope to see you there!

UPDATE as of October 30th at 5 p.m.: Tommy is not able to make it into Exton tonight or tomorrow, Wednesday. The Lasordas are hopeful he will be visiting next week and will update us as soon as they have news. We will update you once we hear! JB
UPDATE as of October 30th, 10 a.m.: Due to Hurricane Sandy, Tommy did not make it into town on Monday, October 29th. The Lasordas are hopeful that he will arrive in town in time to come out to the restaurant on Tuesday, October 30th. You can call the restaurant directly at (484)872-8185 for confirmation.
