Craig LaBan was on the prowl in Ardmore recently, checking out newly opened The Saint James. As a collaboration between talented partners Michael Schulson of Sampan and Izakaya and Rob Wasserman from Rouge, with the former Talula’s Table chef Matthew Moon in the kitchen, the famous Inquirer restaurant critic had high hopes entering this Main Line eatery. Unfortunately those hopes were shattered, much like the plates dropped accidentally during service.
