Buddy’s Burgers, Breasts and Fries‘ newest location debuted in downtown Media late last week, at the corner of State and Orange streets. As the third location of the locally-owned burger joint, with other locations in West Chester and Exton, locals can expect a well-done comfort food lineup featuring always-fresh, never-frozen burgers, fried chicken, hot dogs, boardwalk fries and milkshakes.
Filling the home of the former Zac’s Hamburgers was an attractive move for Buddy’s owners, as the location is positioned near the courthouse and welcomes walkable lunch traffic. The new burger hub provides counter-service, is affordable, and showcases health-conscious options among the endless casual options.
Menu highlights includes The Buddy with two patties and the Little Buddy with just one patty. The Cajun is a popular choice (The Buddy with blackened seasoning, voodoo BBQ sauce, fried onions, lettuce, tomato and blue cheese spread), as is The Amigote (The Buddy with fresh avocado, salsa, jalapenos and pepper jack cheese). In case you want to create your own buddy, there are 23 toppings to choose from. Never skip the hand-dipped Tastykake Butterscotch Krimpet Shake—ever.
