Pull Out Your Planners—October 5 is a BIG Day in Phoenixville: Phoenixville Food Fest, Pub Crawl, TEDx & More

Get ready, folks, here it comes: Saturday, October 5, a day that Phoenixville food and drink lovers have been looking forward to for months! We know you want to be sure to hit each and every event that’s happening around town, so we’re here with the details. Word to the wise: You definitely want to save your appetites for this day.

Oktoberfest Pub Crawl

Starting at noon, Molly Maguire’s PubPepperoncini SottoBistro on BridgeFranco’s RistorantePickering Creek InnPJ Ryan’s Pub and Sips Bistro will all be offering Oktoberfest food and drink specials. On tap: $3.50 pints of Sam Adams Oktoberfest and Fat Jack, pumpkin ales from other breweries, 64-ounce Boots of Sam Adams’ Oktoberfest and more. Follow the Pub Crawl Facebook page here for up-to-the-minute info.

Phoenixville Food Truck Festival

Also starting at noon, 10+ food trucks will be set up on Bridge Street, including Ka’Chi, PJ Whelihans, Little Baby’s Ice Cream, Local 215, Little Jimmies Cupcakes, Hillbilly BBQ, Mom Pops, Bonjour Creperie and Lulu’s Café on the Go. Food trucks will face the sidewalks, allowing easy eating access. Main Street between Church and Bridge streets will be closed to provide vending space, and there will be seating and music in the Main and Bridge Parking Lot. Iron Hill Brewers & Skewers

In conjunction with the Food Truck Festival, Iron Hill will be serving up beers and kabobs, including Brussels & Bacon, with onion and applewood smoked bacon; Verde Chicken, with salsa verde marinated chicken, poblano and red onion; Chile Spiced Skirt Steak, with pearl onions, red peppers, garlic and crimini; Veggie, with balsamic marinated squash, zucchini, red onion, portobellos and bell pepper; Hawaiian, with pork tenderloin, pineapple and red onion; and more. Food on a stick—now that’s what we call fun!

Phoenixville Moose Lounge’s 100-Year Celebration

Still hungry? Join the Phoenixville Moose Lodge for a block party pig roast. Stop by and see what the Moose Lodge is all about—pork, beverage and music will be provided! The event, open to the community, starts at 2 p.m. at the Moose Lodge, located at 119 Main Street.

TEDx Phoenixville

While not food-related, this event is one that we know you’ll enjoy. Each year The Colonial Theatre hosts compelling speakers, artists and performers and celebrates the creative, innovative and inspiring happenings right here and all around the world.
