Fast Casual Asian Cuisine is a Hit at Philadelphia’s WokWorks

In the heart of Rittenhouse Square, WokWorks, a fast casual Asian wok restaurant, is now open. WokWorks is the first restaurant endeavor of Brennan Foxman, a 22-year-old with no restaurant experience, but with a dream in mind:  making affordable high quality made-to-order fast casual Asian food available for the Philly market. He partnered with top Miami-based chef Allen Susser to create the original menu and has worked hard to have his vision come to life.

The Wok menu is configured fairly easily for consumers:

  • Pick your base (quinoa, Soba noodles, steamed rice etc.)
  • Pick your protein (some of which include shrimp, tofu, bacon, beef)
  • Add in some veggies (Bok Choy, Portobello mushrooms, sweet peppers)
  • Choose a signature sauce (such as green curry sauce, Asian BBQ, creamy peanut)

There are also some other notable delicious picks aside from Wok, which include: BBQ Pork Belly Buns, Crunchy Thai Salad and Brussels Sprouts with Ginger, Garlic and Soy Sauce.
