The Note to Close on Jan. 31

West Chester’s downtown music venue, The Note, will officially close for business as of Jan. 31, 2014.

After a six-year run, its reported over in the Daily Local that owner Don Moore “decided he needs a break from the long and arduous hours spent running the venue and plans on spending his free time with his family and reflecting on life, in general.”

Word on The Note’s Facebook page hints at the plans of The Note opening a different live music location by the end of 2014.

The Note opened in 2008, as co-owned with MTV’s Jackass hot shot, Brandon “Bam” Margera. Over time, Margera pulled his participation with the venue.
