Philly.com’s Michael Klein shares some big news for the West Chester dining scene.
Chef John Brandt-Lee of Avalon Restaurant (and JBL Hospitality Group) has taken over the kitchen at Nonna’s (located at 116 E. Gay Street), to set the stage as the new location for Avalon Restaurant. Brandt-Lee tells Klein that the new Avalon will serve “wood-fired pizzas and will have a 12-seat antipasto counter where fresh mozzarella will be made and served.” A “grown-up bar” with an impressive beverage program will also be featured.
