Swarthmore Co-op Rolls Out Supper Club, Quizzo & More Through July

Swarthmore Exterior

Swarthmore Co-op has been spreading the good word about shopping local since 1937, and it’s showing no signs of slowing down as summer approaches. If it’s been some time since your last visit, let us give you a few reasons why you should get yourself over there ASAP.

On Friday, June 6, Swarthmore Co-op is rolling out Quizzo. Sign up as a team or dare to play solo. This event is BYOB for customers over the age of 21. Bring a bottle of wine and make it a date night! Quizzo begins at 8 p.m. (Bonus: Expect some awesome specials on buffalo wings.)

Supper Club at the co-op sounds like something we’ll be first in line to attend. On June 20, the co-op is hosting the first of its three-part Summer Supper Club series in partnership with The Scott Arboretum. Guests are asked to arrive at the co-op at 5:30 p.m. The night will start with a walking tour through the arboretum, followed by a sampling of local cheeses in the herb garden. Dinner will follow in the Gillespie Room, as prepared by chef Alex Garfinkle of AG Catering. This event is BYOB. Purchase tickets ahead of time to ensure a spot at this event.

The folks at Swarthmore Co-op are thankful to a very supportive community for their continued success. To show you just how much they appreciate your loyalty, they’re dubbing July 19 Members’ Appreciation Day. Flash your membership card and enjoy 10% off all merchandise all day. That’s a big-time thank you!

If shopping local is a statement you’re looking to make, then Swarthmore Co-op is right up your alley. Find the co-op at 341 Dartmouth Ave. in Swarthmore.
