3 Hot Spots for Drinks During Tour de France (Plus a Killer Brewery of the Month Special)

The action is heating up on the Tour de France—and from the looks of it, so are the beer specials at some Philadelphia hot spots. Head out to Barren Hill Tavern & Brewery, Old Eagle Tavern and Devil’s Den to take advantage of Tour de France rollback prices on both Ommegang and Duvel brews.

Each of the three bars is offering customers $1 off all Ommegang and Duvel beers during the Tour de France, which runs from July 5–27. All patrons will also receive a chance to enter raffles for Ommegang gift baskets. One grand prize winner will win two tickets to the annual Ommegang Brewery summer beer fest, Belgium Comes to Cooperstown, to be held in Cooperstown, New York, on August 8 and 9. All winners will be chosen on July 27 at the conclusion of the Tour de France.

The deals don’t stop there! Coincidentally enough, July’s Brewery of the Month at Old Eagle Tavern is Ommegang Brewery. Not only is Ommegang beer $1 off during the Tour de France, but all Ommegang beers are also $1 off on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Sundays the entire month of July. Sounds like more than enough reason to head out and enjoy a few discounted brews with friends.

Find Barren Hill Tavern & Brewery at 646 Germantown Pike, Lafayette Hill; Old Eagle Tavern at 177 Markle St., Manayunk; and Devil’s Den at 1148 S. 11th St., Philadelphia.
