Top Reasons to Attend Brandywine Valley Wine Trail’s Harvest Festival

It’s that time of year again! Brandywine Valley Wine Trail is gearing up for its 12th Annual Harvest Festival and they want you to join in the celebrations. Whether you’re a first time attendee or a seasoned veteran, there’s plenty to see, do and taste as the weather shifts from warm summer nights to cool autumn evenings. Enjoy live music, hayrides throughout the vineyards, BBQs, wine tastings, winery tours and plenty more as the festival kicks off on September 27 at noon. Tickets and passports (access to multiple wineries) will be on sale throughout the month of September.

As a segue into Breast Cancer Awareness Month, each vineyard will host a Stomp for a Cure event. Get your name on the stomping list with a minimal donation and put your feet to good use. Stomps will be scheduled at all vineyards on the trail. Feeling like just one stomp isn’t enough of a contribution? Heck, grab a group of friends and sign up for multiple stomps throughout the month of October. Additionally, $1 from each bottle of selected wines will be donated to two local breast cancer charities: Delaware Breast Cancer Coalition and Living Beyond Breast Cancer.
