Music-lovers are in for a treat—the Josh Olmstead Band has performances planned at two Pennsylvania wineries this weekend:
The Vineyard at Grandview in Mount Joy, Pa., on Friday, August 15
Antler Ridge Winery in Ulster, Pa., on Saturday, August 16
Olmstead, a Philadelphia guitarist, singer and songwriter, performs nationally and internationally in 50–100 concerts per year. He has opened concerts for several noteworthy artists, including Alberta Cross, Buffalo Killers, Howlin’ Rain, Iris Dement, The Jayhawks’ Gary Louris and many, many more. He has also appeared in several influential online music series, including Weathervane Music, Bands in the Backyard (BITBY) and Daytrotter, where his performance with TJ Kong & the Atomic Bomb reached the site’s Best 100 Songs of 2013.
