After a very successful debut, the Coffee & Tea Festival: Philly is back for round two. Building on a crowd of over 3,000 people last year, this year’s festival promises to be bigger and better. Mark your calendars for 10 a.m.–5 p.m. on November 8 and 9 and prepare to immerse yourself in all things coffee and tea.
Make your way to the Philadelphia Expo Center either (or both) days to take in samples from some of the hottest names in the coffee and tea industry: Firsd Tea, Café Excellence, Salazon Chocolate, Ajiri Tea, Stonekeep Meadery, Red Rose, Capital Teas, Full Spirited Flavours, Salada, Health & Tea and many more.
One-day tickets are going for $20, and two-day passes are discounted at $30. Ticket prices include admission to the festival, plenty of coffee and tea tastings and most demonstrations/activities. While many of the programs over the course of two days are included in the ticket price, there are a few activities that will require additional funds. Be sure to check out the full line-up of events taking place that weekend.
Proceeds from the Coffee & Tea Festival: Philly will benefit Cup for Education, a nonprofit organization that is helping low income, rural coffee communities in Central and Latin America build schools and educational programs within their communities. Cup for Education will also be running a cell phone drive at the event. Please feel free to bring your outdated, broken and/or unused phones to donate toward a good cause.
