Square 1682 is throwing a block party on October 12 that you won’t soon forget. High Steaks! The Great Philly Cheesesteak Challenge and Cocktail Competition will be taking over Sansom Street between 16th and 17th Streets from 1–4 p.m. on this date. If you love cheesesteaks, cocktails and attending an event for a great cause, Philabundance, you better believe that this festival is the event for you.
See local chefs go head-to-head in a fierce cheesesteak-making competition. Area cocktail creators will also have their own feisty competition taking place in the quest for making the best cocktail around. Guests who attend will sample both the cheesesteak and cocktail creations while also indulging in Victory Brewing Company brews and Manatawny Still Works samples.
