Let’s face it. Philly has some pretty spectacular restaurants. We know this. However, it is always great to see the Philadelphia culinary industry acknowledged on a national scale. That’s what occurred when OpenTable asked diners around the country for their input and compiled the answers in its “Top 100 Fit for Foodies Restaurants in America” list. When the votes were tallied, 12 of our beloved local restaurants were included on the list.
The chosen Philadelphia restaurants range from casual to elegant, but all are well deserving of this acknowledgment. The restaurants on the Top 100 list include The Farm and Fisherman, Fond, Laurel, Mica, The Pickled Heron, Sbraga, Talula’s Daily, Townsend, Vedge, Vernick Food & Drink, Will BYOB and Zahav.
