Looking for a spooky, spirited spot to celebrate Halloween? You may want to head to Malvern’s General Warren Inne.
Recently, a customer visiting the inn from out of state, who has been part of paranormal studies in the past, noticed an image on the exterior stucco of the building that eerily looks like a screaming George Washington. Two times the staff tried to take a photo of it with their cellphones, and two times the photo disappeared! The third try was a charm, however. Here’s the image. Can you see it?
To the best of the inn’s knowledge, George Washington was never involved with the property (it was British controlled when Washington was in the area in September 1777). But it sure makes for a fun Halloween story.
Come see for yourself on Halloween, the spookiest night of the year. Perhaps Washington will make a guest appearance … But even if he doesn’t, you can always enjoy spirits of another type at General Warren Inne’s fantastic bar. Take a seat in the Warren Tavern for wines from around the world, a huge selection of beers, top shelf liquors, ports, cordials and cocktails. If you don’t feel like venturing out in the dark, join the inn for its Happy Hour from 4:30–6:30. A “spirited” time is guaranteed for all!
