Meet Hobo Ed’s Artisan Coffees of Adamstown, PA

Those who pass through the doors of Kimberton Whole Foods in Douglassville, Downingtown, Kimberton and Malvern have most likely spotted Hobo Ed’s Artisan Coffees both lining their shelves and poured in their cafes. The relationship between Kimberton Whole Foods and Ed Humpal, owner of Hobo Ed’s Artisan Coffees, is one that started well before he ever started selling his artisan coffees in their stores.

Getting a closer look at who Ed Humpal is would bring a smile to anyone’s face, for his passion runs deep and his mission is simple—buy globally, roast locally. Ed’s commitment to community reaches well beyond the local area he serves. For every pound of his medium-dark roast (El Amor De Madre) sold, Ed donates $1 to Grounds for Health, an organization that works to increase cervical cancer prevention services in areas with deep roots in the coffee industry.
