Kimberton Waldorf School Announces Forest, Field and Farm Kindergarten Program

Starting in the 2015–2016 school year, the second oldest Waldorf school in North America, Kimberton Waldorf School, will be introducing a new outdoor curriculum program for kindergarten-age children.

The Forest, Field and Farm Program will provide kindergarten students with education based on elements in the great outdoors. The curriculum will focus on nature and the environment, with classes being held in an outdoor setting on the 430-acre campus. The children will have hands-on learning in many different educational and nature-based activities, ranging anywhere from farm chores to exploring animal habitats to nature crafts. This all-encompassing program will be educational and enable children to expand their knowledge in an outdoor setting.

Children ages 4–6 may be eligible for this new and exciting outdoor half-day kindergarten program. Visit the Kimberton Forest Kindergarten website for more information on this excellent and unique new program at Kimberton Waldorf School. Enrollment is limited.
