Who says that meat eaters are the only ones who can enjoy a cheesesteak? Not us! In fact, one upcoming contest has the goal of naming 2015’s Best Vegan Cheesesteak in Philly.
On March 20 at 4 p.m., at a taste-testing competition at Weavers Way Co-op (8424 Germantown Ave., Chestnut Hill), judges will determine which of three qualifying vegan cheesesteaks will win the coveted title. And YOU get to nominate the list of contenders! Vote for your favorite from now until noon on March 18 via Philly.com. In addition to naming an overall winner on March 20, there will also be categories for Best Newcomer and People’s Choice.
