If there was ever a time to jump on board and support Pennsylvania tourism, now would be that time. Literally. Beginning April 27 and going through May 2, a group of travel industry professionals and advocates will embark on a 100-mile journey down the Juniata and Susquehanna rivers, all in the name of raising awareness for the travel and tourism industry. This excursion will lead up to the Annual Pennsylvania Tourism Summit, slated for May 3.
You can join in the efforts as well. Paddle part of the way, paddle all of the way, but whatever you do, paddle! Rental equipment and shuttle services will be available throughout the trip. Lodging will be provided at Juniata Valley Winery/Wilson House Bed & Breakfast, thanks to Liz Diesel, Vice President of the Pennsylvania Wine Association.
