Jennifer Carroll Hosts Philly’s First “Chefs Behind Bars” Pop-Up Happy Hour (April 20)

Chef Jennifer Carroll is helping to end childhood hunger by hosting “Chefs Behind Bars,” an April 20 pop-up happy hour to take place at Charlie was a sinner. from 5–8 p.m.

$15 at the door will get you entry into the fundraising event as well as a taste of Philadelphia Distilling’s gin-based cocktail The Good Behavior. Host chef Ted Manko and general manager Pete Venuto will join Jennifer behind the bar, working together to mix up spectacular beverages for thirsty guests. Ticket proceeds from “Chefs Behind Bars” will benefit No Kid Hungry. You’ll also be able to purchase discounted rate tickets for Taste of the Nation Philadelphia, another fundraiser coming up on May 3 to benefit No Kid Hungry.

If you want to keep the evening going after 8 p.m., feel free to stick around for industry night at Charlie was a sinner. For those who are unable to attend on April 20, there will be another “Chefs Behind Bars” pop-up happy hour on April 27 taking place at Jerry’s Bar, with chefs to be announced.
