Dill’s Tavern and Plantation in Dillsburg will be the future location of a period distillery, made possible by the Northern York County Historical and Preservation Society.
The distillery will be located on a 1.14-acre lot and will feature ingredients grown on-site and libations made by hand. This new addition to York County will highlight whiskey-making the old-fashioned way and add a new aspect to the distilleries that we see today. Even more exciting is the fact that this future distillery will be the first of its kind in Pennsylvania offering a “grain-to-glass” approach. Once open, visitors will pay a fee, tour the facility and sample some whiskey at the end, if all goes as planned.
Keep a lookout for distillery progress updates!
