The 4th Annual Brandywine Food & Wine Festival will be headed to the Greater Chester Valley Sports Association on Saturday, June 13, with all the food, wine, shopping and live music you could possibly want gathered in one place from noon–6 p.m. We’re here with a suggestion or two (actually, 22!) to help you make the most out of the day. Start your dining, drinking and shopping plan of attack with the suggestions below. For a full list of all 65 vendors that will be in attendance, visit the Brandywine Food & Wine website.
Food
Be sure to come hungry, as 20+ local restaurants and artisan food purveyors will be on the scene to satisfy your cravings for sweet, savory, spicy … or all of the above! Feel free to bring a cooler with ice only so that you may keep cheese and other food items chilled, but please note that no outside food is permitted. We’ve rounded up our top 10 picks for good eats the day of the festival:
Amani’s BYOB
Bangles Indian Cuisine
Bridge Street Chocolates
Conebella Farm Cheese
Dia Doce Gourmet Cupcakes
MacDougall’s Irish Victory Cakes
Righteous Felon Beef Jerky

Crafts
Attention shoppers! There will also be more than 25 different vendors lining the festival grounds for your shopping pleasure. From jewelry and handbags to candles and even some treats for your doggie, you’ll be able to do some serious retail therapy throughout the day. We recommend you pay a visit to the following:
Botanical Bubbles
Ladybags by Meme
My Aunt Debbie
Pure Scent Candle Company
Set to a Tea
Urban Essence Salon
Wine
Last but most certainly not least—the wine. The Brandywine Food & Wine Fest will be showcasing wines from a baker’s dozen of local wineries. Ten wine tastings are included in your festival admission (one tasting = one ticket); additional tastings will be available for purchase at the festival gate (10 extra tastings for $10). Wine will also be sold by the glass, bottle and case. Taste your way through the festival grounds, and be sure to sample varieties from some of our favorites:
Black Walnut Winery
Grace Winery
Kreutz Creek Vineyards
Penns Woods Winery
Stone Barn Cellars Winery
Ten Gallon Hat Winery
Time to grab those tickets! Tickets for the event are $25, kids over 10 and designated driver tickets are $5 and children under 10 get in free. Admission tickets include 10 wine tastings, a wine glass, a bottle of water and access to all of the festival fun.
