Help the Garces Foundation raise money by attending the dinner on June 6 and/or barbecue on June 7, both taking place at Luna Farm. On June 6, you’ll be treated to an inclusive wine pairing dinner prepared by Chefs Garces, Landau, Sbraga, Peter Serpico and Greg Vernick. This dinner is very special, as proceeds from the event will benefit the Kulp Family Medical Fund to support Chef Eli Kulp, who was originally supposed to be a featured chef at the dinner. For those craving a Luna Farm barbecue, the event on June 7 from 1–4 p.m. is sure to be a fabulous one as well. Enjoy the day at Luna Farm with a barbecue lunch featuring delectable culinary items from Garces Events, Fat Jack’s Barbecue, Tony Luke’s, Rosati Ice and OwowCow Creamery alongside plentiful drinks and cocktails. There will be 30-minute Luna Farm tours, a vodka-making demo with Tito’s Vodka, make-and-take herb seed plantings, a cookbook signing and so much more! Tickets for the Luna Farm barbecue are $75 per person, $30 for kids 5–12 and free for little ones under the age of 5.
The Garces Foundation, founded by Chef Jose Garces and his wife, Beatriz Mirabal-Garces, is a nonprofit organization dedicated to helping the immigrant community of Philadelphia get the care they need and deserve through various means, including community health days, adult ESL programs for individuals working within the restaurant industry and much more.
