Now Open in West Chester: El Comalito Mexican Taqueria

El Comalito Interior

If you shed a tear (as we did) when Don Gabriel’s closed late last year, it’s time to rejoice: Blanca Marroquin, the main chef of Don Gabriel’s has teamed up with Don G. himself to open and co-own a new restaurant: El Comalito Mexican Taqueria.

A little less than two weeks ago, El Comalito moved into the former home of Billy Burger and Bakery, on N. Five Points Road. The menu includes the same much-loved recipes that Blanca brought to Don Gabriel’s—all the same sauces, salsa, guacamole, and more.

Blanca will also be serving up her top-notch chiles rellenos, tacos, tamales, burritos, fajitas, mole poblano and all your other favorites, in addition to a breakfast menu (yes, breakfast!) and weekend specials to include beef tripe stew, pozole and tamales Guatemaltecos.
