Make Weaver’s Orchard Your Red, White & Blue HQ

This Independence Day weekend, celebrate the good ‘ole USA with delicious red, white and blue treats, sweets and more from Weaver’s Orchard. Weaver’s will be open with its regular hours through the Fourth of July and is inviting you to come pick your own cherries, red and black raspberries, blueberries and strawberries. If you’re in the mood for kicking back and taking it easy instead, Weaver’s farm market will be open and bursting at the seams with the season’s bounty. To keep with the spirit of the holiday, Weaver’s will also be dishing out $1 red, white and blueberry sundaes on Friday, July 3, and Saturday, July 4.

Red-White-Blueberry-Pie

Drooling yet? Be the star of Independence Day when you bring this gorgeous pie to the party. The festive dessert is a family favorite from Anne Weaver’s recipe box, made especially for her daughter Janell, who celebrates her birthday on the Fourth of July. To make your own at home, just follow these instructions. Those of you who don’t want to spend any time in the kitchen over the holiday, take heart: these Red, White & Blueberry Pies are made fresh in Weaver’s bakery every year at this time. Give them a call to place your order. (We promise not to tell that you didn’t make it yourself.)
