Start sipping—we mean, eating—Bluecoat + Blueberries, rich with deep berry tastes and a just-right hint of gin. It’s available through Labor Day at all five Capogiro locations plus Old City’s Capofitto.
Keep an eye on Capogiro’s Instagram to be the first to know when the next boozy combo will take advantage of peak-season produce and milk from grass-fed, hormone-free local cows. PENN 1681 + Cucumber is on the horizon, poised to take advantage of Philadelphia Distilling’s rye vodka.
As the original American Dry Gin, Bluecoat is in a class by itself. All gins begin with juniper berries, and Bluecoat is no exception. A premium blend of organic American citrus peels and spices complements the rich juniper notes, making Bluecoat a natural partner for Capogiro’s local, hand-picked ingredients.
“I love the subtle, herbal notes of Bluecoat American Dry Gin,” says Capogiro’s chef and co-owner Stephanie Reitano. “Pairing delicious ingredients such as local blueberries with the premium craft spirit creates the perfect marriage of flavors.”
In addition to Bluecoat American Dry Gin, Philadelphia Distilling’s Bluecoat Barrel Finished Gin, Vieux Carre Absinthe Superieure, THE BAY Seasoned Vodka and PENN 1681 Vodka will be featured alongside local ingredients such as peaches, apricots, currants, cucumbers and tomatoes from nearby Green Meadow Farms.
