National Root Beer Float Day is coming up on August 6 and, although we love this drink in its original form, it’s even better when you make it boozy.
Art in the Age is elevating the root beer float to a whole new level with its ROOT Beer Float, an adult beverage featuring the company’s ROOT liquor. A number of area bars and restaurants will be serving up this delightful cocktail on August 6, including Silk City, Percy Street Barbecue, Continental Midtown, MilkBoy and Rush Lounge.

Art in the Age ROOT Beer Float
- 2 scoops vanilla ice cream
- 2 oz. Art in the Age ROOT Liquor
- 2 Tbsp caramel sauce
- ½ cup root beer soda
Scoop the ice cream into a tall glass. Drizzle the caramel sauce over the ice cream and then top with ROOT liquor and root beer soda. Enjoy!
